Jerry Breiner (guitar, vocals) is a Midwest native, though he has called California home since 1980 and has been a mainstay of the local Ventura, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara club and concert scenes since. Performing professionally since the age of 8, Jerry is a multi-instrumentalist on guitar, piano, organ, marimba/vibes, mandolin, banjo, dobro and percussion instruments, and he has performed and recorded as both a singer-songwriter and multi-tasking session musician and producer in St Louis, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boulder, Nashville and Orlando, FL. Jerry was signed as a staff writer to Sony-Tree Publishing in Nashville for a number of years before moving to California, and he has played with or opened for acts as diverse as Al Stewart, Karla Bonoff, Mama’s Pride, Heartsfield, Emmylou Harris, Billie and the Beaters, John Batdorf (Batdorf and Rodney) and many others. Jerry received a Bachelor of Music Degree in Theory/Composition from Webster University and was also valedictorian in his graduating class from the prestigious Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts, a professional trade university specializing in live and studio engineering. He prefers walks on the sand and the color green - and getting caught in the rain...
Bass player Glade Rasmussen is known for his tone; a tone you feel as much as hear. His adventure started west of Memphis, he learned to walk in Japan, spent time in the oil fields of OK and started playing in a small delta town in Northern California, when his Air Force Dad brought home a cheap guitar. Determined to buy his first bass, at 12 he threw newspapers to earn money, then wore out his vinyl record collection learning to play. That singular drive has become the hallmark of his sound. Today, fellow musicians refer to him as "so deep in the pocket, he's covered with lint" and laying down grooves "effortlessly in the right pocket." Glade drives the low end with authority, the obvious result of years of playing, recording and touring with diverse talents like Bo Diddley, Jon Gindick, Alastair Greene, Rick Reeves, Brian Buel, C.P. Krunt, Target, House of Games, and San Francisco Bay Area legends Alvon Johnson, Chris Cobb, Daniel Castro, Francis Clay, Bobby Webb and Alvin Sykes. Both gifted musician and skilled technician, a short list of his production and technical clients reads like a "Who's Who"; Joe Satriani, Sammy Hagar, Bob Seegar, Kenny Loggins, Hiroshima, Reba McEntire, Barbara Mandrell and B.B. King. In Drum Magazine Rasmussen was described as possessing "two parts technique and one part magic....that special chemistry that makes a good rhythm section click." It's his unique blend of technical skill, drive and artistry that has forged Glade's career, creating memorable sounds and big adventures.
Bob Nichols (drums and percussion) is a native of Southern California. Playing drums professionally since the late 70’s, Bob has had extensive experience in a diverse range of music styles from rock, pop and country to r & b, funk and jazz and has been a regular in the local club/concert music scene for many years. Bob is a seasoned session player having worked in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, Santa Barbara and Ventura. Bob studied with legendary drummer David Garibaldi (Tower of Power) during the 80’s, and has performed and/or recorded with Jim Messina (Poco, Loggins and Messina), Chris Hillman (The Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers, Desert Rose Band, Manassas), Randy California and John Locke (Spirit, Nazareth), Peter Lewis (Moby Grape) and many other artists and notable session musicians. Bob is also a member of venerable Americana band Marley's Ghost. He tours regularly with the band and recorded their two most recent critically acclaimed albums, Woodstock Sessions and Travelin' Shoes, with esteemed musician and multi Grammy-winning Producer, Larry Campbell.
